Allison Beaumont’s journey is a story of passion, perseverance, and the power of community. As a Creative Writing and English major with a lifelong love for soccer, Allison’s path took her from Milton Magic FC to standout collegiate soccer programs and beyond. Along the way, she built friendships, overcame challenges, and achieved success on and off the field.
Kicking Off a Dream: Allison’s Early Days with Milton Magic FC
Allison’s soccer story began in 2010 when she joined Milton Magic FC at just nine years old. For the next eight years, she developed her skills as an Attacking Midfielder and Forward, playing for age groups from U9 to U17. With guidance from coaches like Dan Beaumont, Alex Liguori, Orlin Chalmers, and Dave Sciberras, she honed the technical abilities that would become the foundation of her career.
Rising to the Challenge: Allison’s Collegiate Soccer Journey
In 2019, Allison embarked on her collegiate soccer journey at the University of Toledo. Two years later, she joined Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), where she continued to shine.
“Playing university soccer was the most rewarding experience of my life,” she reflected. “It allowed me to meet people from all over the world, travel to places I never thought I’d see, and be part of a community that cannot be found anywhere else.”
Despite the rewards, collegiate soccer also came with its challenges. Balancing high expectations in academics and athletics required daily commitment and resilience. But Allison thrived, achieving a milestone victory by winning the regular season championship with SNHU in her first season – an unforgettable moment she cherishes to this day.
Making Memories: Career Highlights and Achievements
Allison’s time at SNHU and now with BVB Waterloo in League 1 Ontario has been filled with unforgettable moments and milestones. Among them, celebrating the regular season championship with her SNHU teammates stands out as a favorite memory.
“There’s nothing quite like the happiness, community, and gratitude you feel after a big win,” she said, reflecting on the camaraderie of those locker room celebrations.
Words of Wisdom: Advice for Aspiring Players
Allison’s journey offers a wealth of insight for young athletes aiming to follow in her footsteps. Her advice emphasizes the importance of early preparation and staying true to one’s passion:
“The earlier you start, the more options you’ll give yourself and the less stressful it will be. Also, personal fulfillment and your love for the sport are more important than glitz and glamour. There’s a program out there that will love you as much as you love it”

The impact of Milton Magic FC extends far beyond Allison’s soccer career. “In addition to the lifelong friendships I’ve made, growing up as an athlete with Milton Magic gave me so many skills that I’ve been able to use in other areas,” she shared.
